Values such as environmental, social and economic sustainability have marked the beginning of a project for the Kiasma Group since 2008, whose technologies must be in line with climate, hydrological, geological and energy changes, suitable for CO2 reduction and the reduction of microplastics in the marine environment in line with the IPCC goal of zero emissions in dredging.
Millions of dollars are invested each year in optimising dredging pumps that can reduce CO2 emissions, but no one has ever focused on the discharge lines that dissipate this energy.
Rapidly evolving especially since 2020 with innovative systems and the collaboration of leading international petrochemical companies, Kiasma Group has researched and patented thermoplastic polymeric compounds processed in the form of pipes and floats in line with the principles of fluid dynamics.
